EXPECTED OUTCOMES –

1. Students will find out information on the local government.

2. Students will understand the structure and functions of local government of their own area.

STEPS FOR THE ACTIVITY –

1. Give the questionnaire in advance and ask students to research on the questions given, and

encourage them to discuss with parents/adults too.

2. Assign one group to conduct the same research for their own school area. They can take the help

of the DA teacher.

3. Instruct each group to collate the information on A4/A3 size sheet

COMMUNITY BASED ACTIVITY –

1. Each student/group can display the information sheet in their society or community spaces

2. School area research can be displayed on school notice board/DA Wall for information.
